2006's Top TSL Mod

by MacCorp
This is an extensive mod that includes several sides quests that will let you meet new npcs and gain a number of quality items including robes, armors and lightsabers. You will also have the option to select Bastila as the player character and/or to meet her as a non-playable character. MacCorp has paid a great attentiion to detail and this is a must have mod.

2006's Top Mods Honors

1. Final Touch by Oldflash
In this mod, Oldflash does far more than adding a huge amount of amazing new weapon models, items and robes to the game. This mod is basically a complete high quality aesthetic overhaul of the game. It also improves several npc models, textures and adds two new selectable appearances during character creation.

2. NPC Recruitable Dustil by Princess Artemis and Jiara
Dustil is back! Princess Artemis and Jiara have created an entire storyline for Dustil that is perfectly interwoven with the game's original story. If you are looking to renew your TSL experience with a new party member, this is a must have quality mod.

3. Kreia's Assorted Robes by ChAiNz.2da
"Kreia looks always the same..." Well, no longer! This mod allows Kreia to ditch the "burlap sack" excuse of a robe she wears and replace it with more fashionable robes. ChAiNz.2da also added a mini-quest to his mod and incorporated tk102's Remote Tells Your Influence mod to give the little floating guy a real purpose....or purposes...but that's for your to find out.

4. Combat Simulation Area v4 by stoffe
Stoffe's popular Combat Simulation Arena makes a come back on our top mods for 2006. Stoffe gave the mod a major overhaul by adding new types of combats, new arena combatants. Your opponents' AI and abilities have also been tweaked and a few cool additional features have been added. For those who aren't already familiar with this mod, it is a "mini-game" module where you can practice fighting against a wide variety of opponents in several types of matches. You can also watch games between AI-controlled combatants, bet on AI matches, and compete in the arena for credits. Don't forget to bring those medkits!

5. BloodRayne As PC by mjpb3
Whether you are a Bloodrayne fan or not, if you are looking for a more sexy outfit for your female PC, this mod is for you. mjpb3 made a nice reskin of the original Twin Sun's outfit.

6. The Super Enhanced Mod by Shem
If you think that KotOR II TSL has become too easy and want to renew your gaming experience, this mod is for you. This mod changes gameplay in general by altering armor restrictions, weapon damage, and the challenge level of encounters. Shem also left a few twists and surprises for you to discover along the way.

7. Floating Ligthsabers v.2.0 by Darth333
While this mod was also on our 2005 list, Darth333 has brought several modifications to it in 2006. To those unfamiliar with the mod, it adds a new selectable force power reproducing the force power used by the final boss at the end of the game. It comes in 3 levels, and the color of the sabers varies according to your alignment. The 2006 modifications include a mini quest to gain the force power. There is also an entirely new leveling system: once you have gain the first level of this force power, you will automatically gain level 2 and 3 if you "practice" it a number of times.

8. Imperial Knight by Prime
Once again, Prime has made a good looking retexture for the game. This time, he completely transformed the Jal Shey armor into the Imperial Knights outfit from the Star Wars: Legacy comics from Dark Horse. In addition to the new armor, this mod also adds the gear and lightsaber used by the Imperial Knights. The new items are usable by most NPC characters as well as the PC.

9. Atris Robes for Females by mjpb3
This mod replaces the Padawan, Dark Padawan, Baran Do Novice, Jedi, Dark Jedi, Norris, Baran Do Sage, Ossus Keeper, and Jolee's robes for females with a renovated and reskinned model of the good-looking Atris robes.
