Prime, a LucasForums veteran since 2002, originally came to the forums “looking for Jedi Outcast awesomeness”. Well, apparently he found it and then stayed on to create Kotor awesomeness for the rest of us with his uber-skills in modding. His SWK specialty is our website graphics design In his Real Life, he has a family, enjoys basketball and movies, admits to being a Beastie Boys fan, and is helping pioneer 4G wireless telecommunications.
Chris Avellone's greatest fan, Emperor Devon, joined the SWK staff as a newsposter. He reports on news about developers and games, in spite of the fact that he is plainly biased about anything involving his favorite game, Planescape: Torment and his favorite TSL character, Kreia. His alter ego studies history at college and enjoys debating. He reads books like Atlas Shrugged for fun, which makes the rest of us question his sanity.
Rogue Nine is our venerable member, having joined Rogue Squadron net before LucasForums was even formed. He's a part of the Kotor/SWK community because his favorite character HK-47's meatbag comments were too enticing to resist. He became a staff member to help manage the forums and because someone lied to him about girls liking administrators' Ultimate Powah, even though there are no girls on the internet.
tk102 is the forum system administrator, in spite of the fact that one has to be completely insane to take on the job of keeping a forum of thousands of members and millions of posts working well. The poor soul often can't decide whether coding or gaming is more enjoyable. When he's not making iPod rechargers out of Altoid tins or creating laser goggles, he helps out with modding and is the creator of one of the favorite Kotor mods, the Kotor Savegame editor. He has been noted saying, “If I had a clone, we'd tell each other dumb observational jokes all day long.”
When Pavlos isn't studying Shakespeare, Browning, or Keats, he's busy helping out as a newsposter on SWK, interviewing developers and writing up their comments on game production. His favorite movie is The Empire Strikes Back, so it's natural that he eventually found his way to LucasForums searching for mods for Star Wars games. He says his favorite Kotor character is Kadir the janitor. The rest of us think that's some kind of secret code word for 'Twi'lek dancing girls'.
stoffe is a game modder extraordinaire for not only the Kotor games but also Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2, Baldur's Gate series, Deus Ex, and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. She joined the forums in 2002 and stayed because she thought it was a nice community (boy, did we fool her!). She does computer programming in Real Life and has put her uber-skills to work creating the TSL Patcher to help solve mod compatibility problems. She became a staff member to be better able to help teach others about her passion for making mods. The admin staff coerced gave her an offer she couldn't refuse, and so she joined tk102 in Jae's Hotel Asylum by taking on some of the system administrator duties and working on the website programming for the new SWK site.
Char Ell joined the LF and SWK communities in 2005 to 'ask questions instead of waiting for others to ask them'. Well, he's now answering them for the rest of us, especially if it involves anything related to the potential creation of a Kotor 3 game, or if Bastila and Visas are the subjects. When he's not researching tirelessly and writing on that, he does work in the airline industry, travels, and enjoys Star Wars movies and games. He says he joined the staff to hob-nob with the cool people. The rest of us geeks are looking around wondering where the cool people are, too. His obsession with the color green has led us to the conclusion that he also belongs in Hotel Asylum.
Darth333's quest for an easier way to beat the swoop race led her to LucasForums and the modding community, where she's since made some terrific contributions of her own. She admits to being on the Dark Side in real life working as a lawyer, and so the other administrators decided she'd be a natural addition to furthering their evil plots and conquering the universe. She spends time helping to teach others about modding as well as troll-hunting, when she's not busy with work, international travel, and mastering playing Prokofiev's Sonata no. 7.
Inyri joined the forum in 2005 because of her passion for modding games like Jedi Academy, Neverwinter Nights, and of course, Kotor. She's a big fan of Bastila because Bastila makes her laugh hard when she's in her party. When Inyri's not stuck in the office for her day job, she enjoys movies, music by RUSH, combining weird uses for food (vegetable lollipops?!?) and bugs—the real kind, not the computer version. We stole her from FileFront to help out with newsposting on mods as well as entertaining us with the Friday Funnies.
Our local curmudgeon, machievelli, heads up the fanfiction section on SWK and writes reviews weekly. He enjoys playing Kotor and writing not only Kotor stories, but also his own fiction and has several novels to his name. He says he took on the job as reviewer because he enjoys seeing all of us kids (including those of us 'kids' who are permanently 29, heh) improve in our writing. Those of us who write fanfiction enjoy keeping him really busy, too.
Jae Onasi is our sassy Momerator. She's an eye doctor, a Chirurgeon in SCA, and a fan of ribs (both barbecued and the Orlando Bloom variety). She's a prolific fanfiction writer and has penned a slew of adventures into the background of everyone's favorite Kashyyyk hermit Jedi. She heads up the Coruscant Entertainment Centre fanfic/artwork forum.
Redhawke is the hard-assed three-headed guard dog the group. He will ban you if you give him half a reason. That's all you need to know. Oh, and that he has a Mission Vao Capital One card... so that's two good reasons to fear him.
stingerhs also exists at edge technology. He's currently devising a way to liquid cooling his PC while keeping his coffee hot.
