Minigames

The mini games from KotOR 1 are back in KotOR 2 The Sith Lords after undergoing a face lift. All of them are now optional.


Turret mini-game:

At some points during the game, you will be presented with the option to man a turret. If you chose to do so, you may gain additional xp points per ennemy killed.

Xbox Controls:
Aim the ships targeting reticle at incoming enemy targets by moving the left thumbstick LEFT and RIGHT, UP and DOWN. Fire the cannons by pressing any button to launch a single shot.

Pazaak:

A collectible card game that is somewhat similar to Blackjack or Poker, but with a collectible component to it. You have a maindeck, but also a sidedeck which can be enhanced and customized by finding or buying additional cards during your journey. There are various Pazaak players around the Galaxy, and some of them have special prizes for you. You can also play it at anytime with Atton Rand

In KotOR 2 TSL, the pace of the game is faster than in KotOR1 and new pazaak cards have been introduced to make the game a little more strategic.

Swoop Racing:

This is a rather simply minigame that sees you racing along different circuits where you have to race over as many Accelerator pads as possible, while at the same time trying to stay clear of the obstacles, mines and trash scattered along the course. KotOR2 TSL introduces a new kind of obstacles that you have to clear by jumping.

There are Swoop Circuits on three planets and all of them are optional.In KotOR 2 TSL, you race only for fame and credits:

• Telos - note that the dialogue with the Race Master on Telos is bugged. If you want to be able to win the swoop races, make sure you finish the race and don't take any practice run.
• Onderon
• Nar Shadaa

Dueling/Hand to hand combat: Throughout the game, you will be presented with the possibility to test your characters' combat skills in dueling circles. You will be able to do so at Telos, onboard the Ebon Hawk and on Dxun.
